BMW X6 premiere of the new (F16) was held in the fall at the Paris Motor Show. As expected, the front a new BMW X6 II generations repeats the X-fifth. The exception was the design of the front bumper. All the same – head optics, adjacent to the grille, hood relief and increased in size brand “nostrils”. In general appearance of the BMW X6 2015 remained recognizable, and all changes are only evolutionary. The length of the new car is 4909 mm (+ 32), width – 1989 (+6), height – 1 702 (+ 12), the size of the wheelbase (2933) and klirens- 212 mm.

The new BMW X6 will receive only three motors. Modification xDrive 30d receive 6-cylinder turbo diesel 258 hp impact and torque of 560 NM. The second, but no less interesting sport version M50d will have the motor, but with a triple turbo. Thanks to this engine power cars will rise to 381 hp, while torque rises to 740 NM. The top gasoline modification xDrive 50i is planned to be equipped with an 8-cylinder V-engine with a twin-turbocharged, 450-hp return and peak torque at 650 NM. That is what will allow to overclock a new car from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.8 seconds flat.

A year later, the modification of engines BMW X6 2nd-generation enhanced. Will be released modification xDrive 35i – gasoline 6-cylinder engine producing 306 hp torques which will be 400 NM. Modification xDrive 40d will be equipped with in-line 6-cylinder turbo diesel with 313 hp impact and torque at 650 NM. All engines comply with the new BMW X6 ecological standards Euro-6, a similar engine for the new generation X5 crossover.

The first generation BMW X6 has been very successful. This is a direct proof – sales figures, which exceeded all expectations. Critics predicted a bleak future for the first Bavarian SUV with a silhouette of a coupe, but 250,000 copies sold the first generation proved that even the most daring ideas find a buyer.
